Description
This little mazot is pretty chic and has all that you could possibly need for your stay, including a sauna. Newly refurbished to a high standard, with large windows opening onto the terrace, the place is full of light. It has an authentic feel to it, made with locally sourced materials and warm wooden timbers. Mountain views from the sauna are wonderful, enjoy them at the end of a day's skiing or hiking. The mazot is situated in the quiet and charming Les Bossons area on the outskirts of Chamonix, you are within a short drive of ski lifts in Chamonix and Les Houches. A real mountain mazot.
There is a delightful living area, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer). Tucked into a cosy corner is the double bed, and if you have a young child there is also a sofa bed that can be used. The shower room is beautifully fitted too, everything you need. We are sure that you will love it!

Stephens' Mazot is a cosy wooden retreat, a small chalet set in a peaceful garden and yet an easy stroll into Chamonix. Within walking distance of the Brevent lift and the centre of Chamonix, the mazot is a brilliant base for skiing in winter as well as stunning walks up to the Petit Balcon in the summer. There is an incredible view of Mont Blanc from the balcony and garden, which surrounds the chalet. Inside there is a sitting room with doors to the balcony, a galley kitchen at one end and a shower room, also a single sofa bed. Downstairs there is a double bedroom which is accessed via a ladder from the room above or the garden door (snow permitting!) The space is small but with everything you need (if you are tall please check with us as some of the ceilings are quite low). A great place to return to after a day in the mountains. Nearby is Brigitte's Mazot, so if there are four of you why not take both! 'The chalet was amazing, great communication, short walk into the town. Mazot les Tines is a cosy little hideaway straight out of Hansel and Gretel. A small chalet situated between Chamonix and Argentière in the village of Les Tines it is well placed for skiing at both Les Grands Montets and Flégère – Brévent. For summer guests there are many mountain walks from your doorstep. There is free day travel in the valley for our visitors using the bus or little single track mountain train. Both the bus stop and the Les Tines train station are 250m from the Mazot. A favourite place for romantic honeymoons, it is set in a pretty garden with the Mont Blanc range as a backdrop, complete with its own hot tub. The perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Pretty stunning we reckon. Inside there is a dreamy little double bedroom upstairs with a door leading to a small balcony and wooden stairs. Below on the ground floor you will find a shower room, a neat little kitchen (with small combi micro-oven, hob, fridge and washing machine) and dining area, all in wood of course, beyond which is a living room with a large picture window (more views!). There are an two extra mattresses on a balcony-mezzanine which are ideal for children (please contact us if you have young children and would like to reserve). All in all it is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family. 'We had an amazing time at the Les Tines Mazot! Beautiful view, peaceful, centrally located & close to train/bus stations. Our host was incredibly welcoming, kind, and flexible. Watching the Alpenglow from the hot tub was magic. If we make it back to Chamonix, we would gladly stay here again.
